What we eat determines the way we look, feel and how we live. In fact, more than what we eat, what matters is how we eat it and in what form do we get our daily nutrition.
Foods with excess fats and calories are known to be one of the main aggravating causes of acne. Women who consume many fatty foods tend to have a dull looking skin and are also vulnerable to a lot of spots and marks on the face.
Experts advise that it is important to modify the forms of foods we have. For instance, potatoes are extremely good for the skin, but become quite harmful for the skin when they are fried. Instead, steamed or boiled potatoes are often better and more advisable. Similarly, effort should be made to steam whatever vegetables and food products we can, instead of deep-frying or even cooking them in oil.
